FAQs
We have tried our best to determine an accurate estimate based on average monthly use. Of course, bills will be higher in certain months than others (e.g. heating during winter). To allow the platform to function we set the monthly cost based on the average. Estimates/figures above may be slightly above the average to account for unexpected spikes.
Yes, inshaAllah! For the very first time for a UK mosque we will inshaAllah be opening our books as part of our Openbook initiative! This will be launched soon.

Please email info@jsmcc.org regarding any issues inshaAllah. Please also note that you will need to contact us directly to cancel donation subscriptions if you have chosen to opt for two different subscriptions (e.g. covering water and electricity) simultaneously.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. We understand that circumstances change and appreciate any contribution you've made to the mosque.
Yes, you won't be able to get refunded any previous donations (just like a normal donation) but you can of course cancel your subscription at any time
If the figure needs adjusting (up or down) due to changes (e.g. insulation or increased demand) we will notify you before making that change to the donation subscription. Any surplus from the donation (e.g. if you donate £50/month but bill for a month comes out as £45) will be used to cover other months or other mosque needs. You can see how your money is spent at any time with our Openbook initiative (pending launch).
